Firefox 3 RC 1 - Now Available

The much Awaited Firefox 3 is now available as a RC, hopefully fixing major bugs in the Betas.

As Mozilla correctly word it:

“This Firefox 3 Release Candidate is a preview release of Mozilla’s next generation Firefox browser and is being made available for testing purposes only.”

So don’t let the ‘next-gen’ part of the sentence obfuscate the text in bold. Enjoy testing.

Essential Mozilla Firefox Plug-ins / Extensions

I’ve explored some Firefox add-ons and extensions, a lot of them have proved to be mostly useful.

I compiled a Top 10 list with relevant links:

Damn it, why is Firefox taking 600 MB?! ;)

  1. Adblock Plus
  2. Adblock Filterset.G.Updater
  3. All-In-One Sidebar
  4. CustomizeGoogle
  5. Tab Mix Plus
  6. PDF Download
  7. NextPlease
  8. NoScript
  9. del.icio.us
  10. Gmail Notifier

Of course there are others that are not included in this list. However, if you think I missed a plugin and you feel it should be in the top 10, feel free to include your suggestions in the comment box below.
